Hi, my name is Marcello but online I go by the alias chari. I am an engineer. I'm passionate about technology, programming, electronics, and everything science related. I love to build things, hack and explore new ideas.

I'm a big fan of open source software and free software. I run a lot of my own infrastructure, maintaining many networked machines both at home and in various data centers for hosting many services I use every day.

I'm also very interested in privacy and freedom of information. Occasionally I delve into the world of philosophy, psychology, and design with my readings.

Currently based in Milan, Italy. Soon I'll be moving to Toronto, Canada.
